Everyone knows I love this album by John Coltrane. That article is still ranked the most popular post on Speakin' the Blues.
It wasn't released until February 1965, but it was recorded on Dec. 9, 1964 in one session and it remains one of the best jazz albums of all time. If you want more read my article in the link above.
