Bluesman Johnnie Bassett Dead

Another bluesman has met his maker. Detroit blues great Johnnie Bassett has passed away after battling cancer.

He was most known for representing Detroit, and also accompanied another Detroit legend, John Lee Hooker for a while.

In his later years he was a well known solo act. He was 76 years old.
