Lonnie Johnson is a blues legend. He was recording stuff early in the day... older than most really.
This song was recorded today in 1926!! That haunting sound of the old times was incredible. This was a time where music was heading more into blues than ragtime mostly famous in New Orleans.
Lonnie Johnson lived until 1970 saw regained fame in the 50's and 60's. I have the DVD "American Folk Blues Festival" from 1963 where he toured Europe as part of the show, with Muddy Waters and other blues legends.
