On December 21, 1963, jazz and trumpet great Lee Morgan recorded "The Sidewinder", arguably his most influential album on the Blue Note label (also his most successful commercially). It was released in 1964.
Out of all the songs, only one is not "blues" based (Hocus Pocus). This album is critically acclaimed and for good reason!
